The most common symptoms of diabetes are frequent urination, excessive thirst, constant hunger, fatigue, losing weight without trying, blurred vision, slow healing sores, frequent infections, tingling in your hands or feet, swollen gums, dry skin, and patches of darkened skin in the folds and creases of your body. Initially, symptoms are hardly noticed, if at all. Thus, recognising one’s risk factor such as age more than 45 years, overweight, inactivity, family history of diabetes, history of diabetes during pregnancy is crucial to suspect undiagnosed diabetes.
